My newest nursery nursery series sponsored by Lullaby Paints is inspired by the art and illustrations of some of my favorite children’s books. The first title I selected is Miss Rumphius, written and illustrated by Barbara Cooney. Cooney paints an inspirational tale of a woman, who after a full life of work, adventure and travel, finds a way to make a lasting mark by making the world a more beautiful place.
With a subtly colorful palette, the atmosphere of the book is warm and lush and rich. You can feel warm sunshine, cool breezes and smell the lupine fragrance in the air.
We’ve captured the colors of the book in this sweet nursery space and infused it with the spirit Miss Rumphius’s adventures. Miss Rumphius made the world more beautiful, and you can start baby off in a beautiful environment of her own.
